Hunter Gause

Hunter Gause is a Brooklyn-based, Colorado-raised filmmaker. His work often explores themes of misfits, purpose, and labor. Hunter’s debut narrative short film, All the Words on the Page, premiered in competition for Best U.S. Short at the 30th Palm Springs International ShortFest before screening at NewFilmmakers LA, Pendance Film Festival, and The Downtown Festival NYC, among other festivals. Currently, Hunter is filming his sophomore short film in Brooklyn and the Hamptons. Prior to filmmaking, he worked in the theater, assisting directors at New York Theatre Workshop, The Wooster Group, and Big Dance Theater.
