Hunter Gause, the son of a personal stylist and a sculptor, is an American filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Hunter began his career in the theatre, assisting directors at New York Theatre Workshop, The Wooster Group, and Big Dance Theater. Based on his experiences with dyslexia, Hunter’s debut short film, All the Words on the Page, premiered in competition at the 30th Palm Springs International ShortFest before screening at NewFilmmakers LA (NFMLA), The Downtown Festival, and Pendance Film Festival, among others. His second short film, Pentimento, is currently being submitted to festivals. He has crewed on film, television, and commercial sets for Gummy Films, Simone Films, and CBS.
