Hunter Gause is a filmmaker based in New York City, originally from Colorado. His films riff on themes of authenticity, expectations, and passion. Before making films, Hunter worked as an off-Broadway assistant theater director.

​His latest short film, Pentimento, will World Premiere at the 34th Hamptons International Film Festival. Hunter’s debut short film, All the Words on the Page, premiered at the 30th Palm Springs International Short Fest and later screened at NewFilmmakers LA and The Downtown Festival, among others. He is in post-production on a new documentary short film.
