An American filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. The son of a personal stylist and a sculptor, Hunter’s work explores themes of youth, labor, and purpose.

All the Words on the Page, Hunter’s debut short film, premiered in competition at the 30th Palm Springs International ShortFest and continued to screen at NewFilmmakers LA (NFMLA), The Downtown Festival, and Pendance Film Festival, among other festivals.  

He has crewed on film, television, and commercial sets with Indie production companies like Gummy Films and Simone Films. Hunter began his career in the theatre, assisting directors at New York Theatre Workshop, The Wooster Group, and Big Dance Theater.

Currently, Hunter is in post-production of his sophomore short film, Pentimento.

Hunter is dyslexic.
