An American filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. The son of a personal stylist and a sculptor, Hunter’s work explores themes of youth, labor, and purpose.

All the Words on the Page, Hunter’s debut short film, premiered in competition at the Palm Springs International ShortFest and continued to screen at NewFilmmakers LA, Pendance Film Festival, and The Downtown Festival NYC, among other festivals.  

Hunter began his career in the theatre, assisting directors at New York Theatre Workshop, The Wooster Group, and Big Dance Theater.

Currently, Hunter is in post-production of his sophomore short film, Pentimento.

Hunter is dyslexic.
